About Ann

I am a newly retired special education teacher, with 30 plus years of experience ranging from second grade through high school. I have taught the 4 core area as well as multi sensory reading. I started in child care when I was in middle school taking care of my cousins and nieces along with neighborhood children. Although I chose a career in education, I truly value that the backbone of any job well done is communication. My bachelor's degree is in Interpersonal/Intercultural Communication I hold this certification along with two master's degrees in education (special education and literacy), elementary education and am National Board Certified as an Exceptional Needs Specialist birth though age 21. Having the education background experience is a plus when delivering meaningful childcare. Besides working, my hobbies include baking, physical fitness and reading. I am certified as a group fitness instructor, CPR & First aid and have a reliable car.
