About Annika

Hello! My name is Annika and I am a responsible adult who loves kids. I am from San Francisco and graduated from the University of Michigan in 2017 with a B. A. in English. I spent the last 3 years living in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I worked as a content writer at a tech company. I just moved to Asheville in July with my partner to be closer to family and experience someplace new. For 2 summers in San Francisco I taught cooking to kids, aged 5-16, at a camp called Y. U. M. chefs. I was also a big sister for 2 years as a part of Utah's Big Brother Big Sister program. My passions include books, the outdoors, creative expression, and education. In addition to regular care-taking responsibilities, I am interested in providing online learning support for kids adjusting to remote classrooms.
