About Annika

Nurturing young minds and fostering their development is my passion. For five years, I've had the joy of caring for children aged 12 months to 7 years old, including toddlers and preschoolers. I offer a calm and patient approach, and I'm comfortable caring for up to two to three children at a time. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, providing regular updates. I am comfortable following your household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, art, puzzles, and educational games. I have First Aid Training, CPR Training, Level One Orton-Gillingham Literacy and Reading Certification, and Graduate level coursework in Early Child Development and Education. I can assist with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and sports/activity supervision. My husband and I just relocated to the Grand Rapids area from Minnesota for his surgical residency this year and I hope to bring my skills and experience to your family as I adjust to our new home!
