Hi! My name is Annika, and I'd love to work for you! Here's a bit about me: In just 3 words, I'd describe my personality as creative, curious, and kindhearted. I started working with kids when I was a kid myself, just helping out in the nursery at my church. Since then, I've helped take care of kids on my own of all ages for over 4 years. I've taken care of all ages from newborns to pre-teens. In my spare time, I like to get outdoors, draw, go fishing, camping, and I love to cook! One thing you should know about me is I'm very understanding and loving towards the kids that babysit. I treat them all like my best friends and am always happy to do whatever activities they love most. I am safety-oriented as well as engaging. I currently attend Connecticut College for Neuroscience with a double minor in Studio Art and Philosophy. I'll be home, in Wayland, for winter break from December 13th through January 19th. Annika took care of our two kids (ages 4 and 2) full time for one summer. She was great! She was always on time and easy to communicate with. The kids were happy to see her every day and enjoyed the walks, playground trips, and art projects she came up with. Annika created a calm atmosphere and expertly managed sibling rivalry and occasional meltdowns, in addition to diapers, naps, kid meals, and dishes.
