About Annika

Hi! My name is Annika, and I'm 19 years old. I currently work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at KU, where I've gained valuable experience providing compassionate and attentive care. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I have experience caring for older adults through my CNA role, including individuals with dementia and memory-related conditions. This experience has taught me the importance of patience, empathy, communication, and providing personalized care that helps individuals feel safe, comfortable, and respected. I enjoy building meaningful relationships with those I care for and assisting with daily activities while promoting independence whenever possible. My goal is always to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where individuals feel valued, cared for, and able to maintain the highest quality of life possible.
