About Annika

Hello! My name is Annika and I am a senior at Whitworth University and I am studying Elementary Education with two endorsements; English language learners and reading instruction. I have loved working with kids for as long as I can remember! I started babysitting around age 12 while also starting to work in the nursery at my church around that time as well. In my time at Whitworth and in my years of experience, I have learned so much about the importance of meeting all kids' needs in not only academics, but more importantly in social emotional learning (SEL), along with the importance of building those relationships. Overall, I love kids of all ages (and animals as I have a dog of my own and he is my best friend), and am very outgoing! I am looking to make some extra money this summer to go towards my last bit of school as a broke college student! I would love to get the chance to meet your kiddos and get to know you!(:
