About Annika

Hello! My name is Annika and I graduated from Whitworth University in 2024 with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education with two endorsements; ELL and reading instruction. This past year I subbed full time in classrooms Pre-K through 5th grade, and ended up getting a long-term sub position at Ridgeview Elementary doing K/1 intervention. I have loved working with kids for as long as I can remember! I started babysitting around age 12 while also working in the nursery at my church. I have been a nanny and have learned so much about the importance of meeting all kids' needs in not only academics, but more importantly in social emotional learning (SEL), along with the importance of building those relationships. Overall, I love kids of all ages (and animals as I have a dog of my own and he is my best friend), and am very outgoing! I am looking to make some extra money this summer to go towards my future classroom! I would love to get the chance to meet your kiddos and get to know you!(:
