About Annika

I spent one semester volunteer tutoring two elementary age girls in general subjects; i. e. Math, reading, writing, etc. I would see the girls once a week to work on whatever homework the girls may have had and then play games or learning activities. I have paid experience with two Chinese adults, teaching them English (ESL tutoring) on a daily basis. I also have one semester tutoring a freshman in high school in Algebra. My goal as a tutor is to create a sense of confidence of the subject matter in the student and I really enjoy getting to know the student and watching their minds expand and adapt to the new knowledge.
