About Annie

Hi! I have been caring for kids casually since I was 9 years old, and I am a mom of two incredible little boys (ages 7 and 4). They live with me from Thursday evening through Sunday, and I am looking for a caregiving position for the time that they are with their dad. (Therefore, I would not be bringing my boys along to a job unless something random came up!) A standard day in my care would include lots of outdoor/active play, reading books, coloring/painting, lots of free imaginative play, healthy(ish) snacks, and basic life skills. I believe in fostering our children's creativity and independence. I feel that there is space in the day for 'some' screen time, but in small doses and preferably something educational. I hope to homeschool/charter school my boys in the future, and am happy to work with your children on letters, numbers, colors, etc. I will help with homework or virtual learning also. I implement respectful parenting and gentle correction.
