I'm from NYC and moved to Rochester in 2021. I currently work at a doggie daycare and have been pet-sitting for years.

Annie

Annie was phenomenal with my feisty senior dog! 🐶 I interviewed several candidates to dog sit overnight, and my dog instantly warmed up to her alone. Her experience with dogs showed immediately, and she asked pertinent questions about whether he’d like to play, where did he like to walk, etc. she didn’t have any hesitation about putting his leash on (he tends to snap when strangers go near his head). She sent me photos and videos, including some of my dog snuggled up on her lap!  Annie was a true godsend. I will look for opportunities to hire her again. 

Annie did a wonderful job caring for our two dogs while we were away for a trip overseas.   One of our dogs developed a serious eye disorder a short time prior to our trip.  He required careful attention, daily pills and multiple eye drops four times daily.  She took care of these needs and took great care of both dogs.  They warmed up to her from the start and were happy and healthy when we returned home.   I highly recommend Annie as a caretaker.

Annie is amazing with our pets! They love when she gets to watch them. She's trustworthy, dependable and genuinely loves our pets! We will never hire anyone else to take care of them!

Annie took outstanding care of our elderly Yorkshire terrier mix in our home.  She bonded with Callie immediately and was not at all put off by the challenges of caring for this older puppy mill rescue.  This included administering meds and some potty accident clean- upShe stayed at our house which was ideal for the dog to be in her own surroundings and kept in communication with us throughout the week with pictures and texts.  It was a great relief for us to find such a great caretaker for our Callie.  We will definitely be asking her to come back soon.  We are so grateful.

Annie bonded instantly with our skittish little guys and has been a loving, dependable sitter for them on multiple occasions when we were out of town for short or long periods. Couldn’t recommend her more highly 

Annie has provided outstanding care for two of our dogs, who have medical and behavioral needs, including medications, carrying them, redirecting and descalating behaviors, and more. We are helicopter dog parents and never left our pets overnight until Annie! She has helped us out on short notice as well. Oh, and the dogs just LOVE her! 🩵

Annie took great care of my dog while I was away, and I really appreciated the updates and photos throughout the stay. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my dog’s well-being!

Annie was so helpful over the holidays. She asked all the right questions, even the once we forgot and we are so glad we found her. What we liked is that she asked for a list, so she wouldn't miss a thing when caring for our two Maine Coons. That is commitment to us.

When cat sitting, she always send us pictures, movies and texts letting us know they were fine and we really appreciated that when being a long way from them.

We could tell that our cats had been taken good care of when coming home.

Annie was fantastic to work with! She showed real care and concern for my pets, and was super flexible when our plans changed. She sent me daily pictures and videos, and my cats were so well cared for. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

We really loved having Annie watch our two cats! She was very communicative, would send photos and video, and very dependable.  She also wasn't afraid to ask questions to make sure our fur babies received everything they needed. We felt very comfortable having her in our home while we were away.  Would definitely hire her again!

Annie is great! We were desperate to find someone to watch our older dog and cat when we found Annie on Care.com. She rushed over to meet us, was super knowledgeable about pets and their needs, and made us feel very comfortable to have her stay overnight. Annie is amazing! I went on vacation leaving the keys to my apartment and the lives of my guinea pigs in her hands and couldn't be more impressed! She was very detail oriented and asked thoughtful questions regarding the care of my pets. While I was gone, she kept me updated on how they were doing and I felt confident that they were being taken care of. I would 100% hire her again and plan to do so the next time I'm on vacation!

Annie is a loving soul. She utterly cared for our Cat "Smokey". He immediately embraced her and felt comfortable with Annie.
She has a very caring attitude with Animals and a calling to care for them.

Annie has been walking my dog for the last two years and has such a caring, loving disposition. Her work ethic is beyond measure. She has always been there for me, even on short notice, to take care of my dog. Additionally, she has gone the extra mile for me on many occasions. Annie was brave to come to our Icelandic Horse farm in the UK all the way from USA and coped very well with the mostly unfamiliar work/daily tasks.  She was gentle and caring with the animals and always cheerful and personable with the family.  Annie was a hard worker and did not always take the time off given to her.  She was keen to learn and always asked questions if unsure about her tasks.  I am happy to provide further detailed information if requested.

Annie came to us when we were acting as guardians for two young nieces. They were with us due to problems at their own home, were upset and often challenging. Annie took care of afternoon school collection and helping to look after them in the evenings. She was amazing with the girls, forming a real bond with them. She was firm when needed but very loving, and cared deeply about them. Although the girls were happy when they were able to return home, they were both sad to say goodbye to Annie and are looking forward to her returning to visit us next year.

Annie is also great with animals. She seems to have a natural affinity with them, as evidenced by the calmness of our friend's rescue dog Rosie when looked after by Annie. After three years, Rosie is not as calm with her owner as she was with Annie!
