Hi! My name is Ann and I have a Masters Degree in teaching. I absolutely love working with students one-on-one and in small group settings. I have over 20 years of experience. I am confident that I can help your child whether it comes to homework help, staying on task and or building specific academic skills and learning styles etc. I am familiar with and have utilized multiple teaching programs specifically in regard to teaching reading, spelling, and phonics for elementary students. One of my strengths I believe is my ability to use my knowledge and experience to create an individualized plan for each student that I work with. I also really enjoy and have success helping with essays, research papers and test prep for middle school and high schoolers. Ann has worked with my two special needs (9 and 13 years old) boys for the last four months. She has the expertise, patience and knowledge on how to work with children on the Autism spectrum. She uses schedules, first/then and breaks to keep them focused and on task. She also went out of her way to work with our schedule on the weekends which was ever-changing. I highly recommend Ann for any child who needs academic tutoring.
