I am a recently retired RN who Has worked in acute care hospitals, visiting nursing, and Hospice nursing. I am looking for part time work in patients' home. I am safety focused and love to provide encouraging care to help patients who are recovering from post acute care and hospice and palliative care. I'd describe my personality as friendly, caring and conscientious I like caring for seniors because I have always been around them! I was fortunate to have 3 grandparents who lived into their late 80's and 90's. To remain at home is a gift. but as aging progresses or illness or injury occur being home alone is difficult. I stay active, I walk daily, enjoy friends. My husband and I love to travel ! I am caring, and safety focused. I treat patients as an individual, respect their privacy and encourage compliance with care needs My skills include medication management, wound care, ostomy care, IV meds, pain management .
