Hi parents, I love taking care of babies & toddlers. It's not just a job to me, it's my purpose & calling in life. I'm very caring, attentive and safety-conscious. I'm also CPR certified and a nonsmoker. I gently help babies along in their developmental stages like rolling over, sitting up, crawling, walking, talking, eating with a spoon and drinking from a cup. I teach toddlers letters, numbers, colors, shapes, animals, etc. I also encourage sharing, caring & taking turns. I like to have a balanced day consisting of interactive play, independent play, story-time, naptime, outside time and socialization with other children. Anneliese has been watching our one-year-old daughter part time since my daughter was 3 months old. We really appreciate the love and care she has provided her! As a first time mom, I was very apprehensive leaving my daughter with someone else so it means a lot that I am at ease while my daughter is under Aneeliece's care. For her, it is not a "job" but a true calling. She is very attentive to my daughter's needs and safety-conscious. She regularly provides us feedback and brings to our attention things we need to be aware of. I truly feel she guides us a lot as first time parents and offers advice and ideas when we need it. She teaches our daughter various things and helps with her physical development. She also makes sure she gets interaction with other babies by taking her to play areas and story-time at the library. Our daughter loves her and lights up whenever she's around. We are so lucky to have found her and cannot think of anyone better!!

Anneliese is a godsend. We went through a few nannies before we found Anneliese; her professionalism, personable personality, and passion for kids were enough for us. She has helped our daughter in ways I am unable to explain. Our daughter was a preemie and has had some developmental challenges. Anneliese has been able to work with her and coach us along the way. I could not be more grateful for all she has done.

Anna has been a devoted care giver to my daughter this year. My little one has grown so much and is learning every single day with Anna. Me and my partner were nervous for someone to care for our daughter outside of our home but once we met Anna and saw the amazing in home daycare set up she has we were immediately put at ease. My daughter wakes up every day and is excited to go to "school". Even on the weekends she is saying "Anna? Go to school?". Anna is flexible, reliable, genuine and so incredibly patient. I highly recommend her to any family! I'm actually the lead placement coordinator at a premier nanny agency and I'm in contact with Nannie's every single day. Anna's hard work and dedication is neck and neck with the best in the industry.

Anneliese has been nannying for our family for almost two years now and I couldn't feel anymore grateful that my husband and I found her. She has watched our 2 year old daughter at her house and I have to attribute a lot of my daughters development to Anneliese. 

Anneliese is not only reliable but has a lot of experience in childcare which has really showed over the past two years. She is kind, patience and extremely caring. I couldn't be any more happy and grateful she came into our lives!

We have been occasionally asking Anneliese to help us with our twin babies. And with confidence, we can say that she is attentive, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. As a new parent, I appreciate the thoughtful and honest insights she has shared with us about babies such as feeding, baby-proofing, daycare issues, and so on. The way she talks, you can tell that she really cares and enjoys what she does. Of course, she is wonderful as a caretaker as well. She is very careful with following instructions, she is very clean, and she would always try to do more than what we ask (in a good way). She interacts very well with our babies. She is gentle and engaging, and she always thinks about what is good for their development; they always seem to be having a good time with her. It is so nice to have someone like Anneliese who we can trust and feel comfortable with.

Anneliese is a very loving and attentive caretaker. After the first night of her watching my two boys I knew I wanted her full time. My boys were always in good spirits when my husband came home to them and my toddler would repeatedly ask for her. I would come home and my laundry would be done and neatly folded my children's room would be immaculate and organized (without me having to ask). I'm short, Anneliese is punctual, kind and takes initiative. I would definitely recommend!!!

Anneliese is careful, clean, experienced and made a lot of good observations and recommendations. My son was just over a year old, so he was learning to feed himself and would make a mess after he ate each time. Anneliese was patient and always cleaned up after my son. She also helped him in his development with walking and learning new words. She got him to nap regularly the same time each day which helped tremendously. My son was always happy to see her when she came over. When we listed our home for sale, I brought my son to her place and it was a good environment so I was thankful for that alternative when we needed it. She also moved to Washington, DC with us to continue watching him until his new school opened. Thank you, Anneliese! You've been a blessing to our family.

Anneliese worked for my wife and I several years ago (2010). My wife and I have 7 children, who at the time were all around 11 and younger. We were not comfortable leaving them home yet and Anneliese stepped in to help. She was amazing at handling the diverse make up of our home. She even helped keep our home clean, aided us in organizing a few of our children's dresser drawers and closet, and assisted my family in keeping our children's daily tasks (chores and homework) on track. She was definitely a blessing to our family and we are thankful we had someone like her watch our children.

I highly recommend Anneliese she is the real thing and attains a special gift of caring for others and knowing children's needs .My children and I will be forever grateful for her time and care she is a real gem,and has a warm loving heart, and spirit. Anneliese is very kind, and patient. I have never met anyone like her she is very organized,and diligent yet relaxed, and understanding .I really could go on and on about Anneliese she goes above and beyond the call ..I cannot say enough how highly pleased we where by her helpfulness and service..Anneliese even helped in the care of my elderly father and was a huge blessing to our family.
