About Anneliese

Hello! I am a lifelong artist with a passion for all things art and art history related. I am also a lifelong learner and bring excitement to sharing my knowledge with the younger generation of artists. I am classically trained through NYU and the New York Studio School, and am pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree at the New York Academy of Art. I offer lessons in traditional painting and drawing that are open to children ages 10 and up. I have a very patient and laid back personality and consider myself a very understanding teacher, as I do well in giving proper feedback based on the individual I am working with. Overall I am very excited to pass down what I have learned to likeminded young artists and watch them flourish! Speaking from personal experience, having an art teacher that truly cares about seeing their student succeed makes a massive difference and I would love to be that person for someone.
