About Anne

I'm kind, happy, and patient. I am an active nanny or sitter, and your kids will get my full attention. I like caring for others because each day I make a positive impact in their life. I started doing so when I was a child - my younger sisters were the first babies/children I nannied. As I got older, my skills grew to include child development, and education. I'm a retired teacher, too! I will help make age appropriate play and learning interactive and fun. I undertook special training to work with children with special needs and IEP's. I've worked with ages infant to adult, in public and private school settings, and in private homes. I've also had decades of animal care & handling: dogs & cats, as well as wildlife. I worked as a zookeeper, and did marine mammal rescue in college. I'm not allergic to your pets, and can include them in care and play. A little about me: I'm an avid reader, I love to hike with my dog, and spend time in my garden. I hope to work with you soon!
