My experience caring for children started when I was very young. By the time I was in high school I knew that I wanted to go into a career in childcare and immediately following graduation I found a position working as a childcare teacher at the YMCA. After spending 2. 5 years in a childcare center (caring for children 6 weeks to 6 years old) I was offered a nanny position and after 7 years I can't imagine doing anything else! I love being a nanny! I get to spend every day playing, exploring, teaching, and learning, and in my opinion there is nothing more enjoyable or rewarding than time spent with kids. Currently I am looking for a family with one or two young children to care for in my home. I have a friendly, energetic, silly 3-year-old who would love a buddy or two to play with during the day! We enjoy learning through play, crafts, and special outings. We have memberships to the zoo and museum. When the weather is nice we love spending time outdoors!
