I am Annie and I have been married to my best friend for 6+ years and we have 2 children. My family recently moved to the Virginia Beach area with my husband's Marine Corps career. I have experience with all ages as my own children range from 3-5 1/2 and I also have experience nannying, as well as working for years in childcare at the YMCA. I also am home schooling my own kindergartner at this time. I am a registered nurse by profession, but have not worked in the field for the last three years, as I have chosen to stay home to raise my two young boys. My preference is to watch your children in my home. I have a child-friendly, yet baby proofed home, with everything ready to watch any aged child. My own children love having others over and even younger ones around. We are a pet-free, non-smoking, healthy eating family with lots of love and experience to give!

I'd give a zero if possible. Talked with her on a Wednesday regarding child care for Friday. Discussed details of picking children up at school and the times. This was to be a regular Friday sitting job after school but this Friday was early dismissal. Everything seemed good to go, she even mentioned it would be fun for her children to have new playmates. Called her Friday morning to confirm so I could call school to let them know who would be picking kids up and she said she couldn't do it because she hadn't heard from me in days! Didn't think I needed to call on Thursday because everything sounded good on Wednesday for a Friday job. Put me in a real bind at my job. I ended up having to take off work. Would not recommend her. Unreliable. Poor communication. Extremely disappointed in her attitude about the situation she placed me in.
