I'd describe my personality as sunshine, calm, and dependable. I like working with kids because they are our future and have a creativity and insight adults have lost. I'm looking for a job that provides connections and supplemental income to my pastoral work. I started working with kids when I was growing up by babysitting. I worked summer camps during college and have been engaged in children and youth programs over the years. In my spare time, I like to read, walk the trail with my dog and spouse, and enjoy antiquing. One thing you should know about me is that I am an ordained Deacon in the UMC. I serve as a part time pastor in the area and so weekends I am not available. Week day hours can be worked out. My skills include calm attitude, enjoy developmental play, and am flexible in responding to changes on the fly.

Anna has been an absolute blessing for our family. She has looked after our daughter since March, and from the very beginning she has been incredibly conscientious, careful and thoughtful in everything she does. Our daughter absolutely adores her, and it has been so lovely to see the relationship they’ve developed. Anna is genuinely full of love and joy with her, and always comes in happy and ready to make their time together fun. She would take her out every day, whether that was for a walk, a trip to the library, or just getting out and exploring together. She would often take our dog along on their walks too, which was such a huge help to us! She is incredibly reliable, amenable and always willing to help with whatever is needed. I’ve always felt completely comfortable knowing our daughter is in her care. She really has made our lives so much easier over the last six months and has become such a valued part of our family. I really couldn’t recommend Anna more highly. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her.
