About Anna

Hi! My name is Anna, and I'm passionate about helping students grow both academically and personally. I earned my B. A. in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross and am pursuing my Master's in Social Work at Fordham University. I have experience as a third-grade teacher, where I developed strong skills in lesson planning and adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs. I've also spent several years coaching swimming, including serving as head coach for my hometown's Special Olympics team, and I've been involved in mentoring programs like Best Buddies. These experiences have strengthened my patience, creativity, and ability to connect with students of all abilities. I believe every child has unique strengths, and I aim to help them build both confidence and academic skills. Whether your child needs support with schoolwork, study habits, or motivation, I bring structure, kindness, and enthusiasm to every session.
