Anna used to watch my dog, Holly, for weekly daycare, and I still haven’t found anyone like her. Holly has intense separation anxiety. Before we met Anna, she’d spend the whole day with her nose under the door, just waiting for me to come home. That’s why we started daycare, and Anna completely changed things. Holly started getting excited in the mornings. She’d run to the door, tail wagging, ready to see her. Anna understood her. She paid attention to her moods and needs, and made her feel safe in a way that showed. Holly was calmer, happier, and more herself around her. Holly connects easily with people, but what she had with Anna was rare. Even now, years later, Anna still makes time to see her. She remembers the little things and always brings thoughtful gifts. Whenever we’re in the same city, she still asks to visit. She’s the best person I’ve ever trusted with my dog.
