About Anna

Hi everyone! My name is Anna, I am nearing my 10th year of teaching elementary in a school setting. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's degree in Creative and Innovative Education. I have a project based learning certification and I am working on my associate Orton-Gillingham certification and will need a family to work with 2-3x a week to complete it. My approach to reading and writing focusing on building confidence, multi-sensory, and a love for what your child does. I have seen children who started the school year saying they hated writing, say writing is their favorite subject. Math is one of my great loves. When I focus on math, I work on building the foundational skills of math facts and then connecting those to higher thinking skills. I enjoy tutoring that uses multi-sensory activities and some computer work (if appropriate). I can help your child in concern areas or build an entire enrichment program that integrates all subjects.
