About Anna

I graduated from Towson University in 2018 with a bachelor degree in Elementary Education maintaining a GPA of 3. 8. In this program, I have held multiple internships at various elementary schools and grade levels. After graduating, I taught English as a foreign language for 9 months in South Korea. Upon returning to the states, I became a long-term sub Grade 1 substitute within MCPS. After finishing this job, I moved to a more permanent position where I have been working at Weller Road Elementary School for the past 3 years as a second grade teacher. I won teacher of the year after my first year at this school in 2020-2021. I have gained a significant amount of experience in creating relationship while continuing to maintain a friendly, and safe environment to promote learning.
