Hi! I am a creative caretaker with around 4 years of experience caring for a special needs child from the age of 11 until she was 15. I assisted with wheelchair operation, operating of a handicapped vehicle wheelchair lift, lifting her in and out of her wheelchair by hand, assisting with operation of speech device, feeding food by mouth, operating feed tube and pump, attending remote school with her, and creating and maintaining an uplifting, fun, and safe environment for her! My experience in this position has made my skilled at deescalating emotional situations and constantly adapting to fit her unique needs.
