Hello there! I recently moved to Southern Fairfield County and am looking for employment in the care giving field. I have spent over 12 years working at various professional health care facilities including; non-profit primary care, hospital and urgent care. I also have 8+ years of home care experience with both elderly and younger clients. Some past clients include; autism, dementia, cancer patients, stroke victims, post-TBI, and debilitative diseases such as Parkinson's, Muscular Dystrophy and Fredreich's Ataxia. Anna joined our circle at a time when we desperately needed help with my elderly father with cancer and absolutely changed all our lives for the better. We loved her immediately due to her kind, gentle, and warm nature -- and vast experience and expertise. She clearly loves what she does and for her this is not "just a paycheck" - she is passionate about dedicating her time to people in need. In the months that ensued after we hired her (we didn't even bother interviewing our other candidates after we met Anna!), my dad alternately called her "an angel," "marvelous," "life-saving," and "my third daughter" (ha). She provided everything we needed when we couldn't be there ourselves - help with ADLs, errands, household tasks, companionship, medications, eating/drinking, etc. She even took him to chemo one time when I had a last-minute conflict, and stayed with him there for hours! We are sad that my dad is moving out of state because we would have tried to keep Anna in our lives for the duration. But I've also made a good friend and I know we'll keep in touch. DO NOT HESITATE to reach out to this lovely, highly competent, dedicated woman!
