I assisted in transportation to and from doctors' appointments, preparing meals, giving daily medication, and just hanging out with them. My grandpa was 100% immobile, and I had to use a hoyer lift to get him in and out of bed and his wheelchair. I went through surgeries, chemo, and radiation with my aunt.
