About Anna

I am a happily retired and youthful senior, who is the mother of two adult sons. My youngest son is autistic. I am also a grandmother of three girls and two boys. They range in ages from 7 to 18. I enjoy spending time with my grandkids, my two sons and other family members. During my career with the D. C. Police Department, I was a civilian supervisory labor specialist. I made recommendations concerning employee disciplinary appeals that were forwarded to the Office of the Chief of Police I was also a sworn member of the department. As a police officer, I learned a great deal about communicating with people and helping them resolve their emergency, and often non-emergency, issues. I enjoyed being a police officer. I felt a sense of accomplishment and pride when I was able to apprehend offenders, and provide assistance to those who were in need.
