About Anna

Hi! I'm a civil engineering student with a strong background in math, including college-level Calculus I-III, Differential Equations, Linear/Matrix Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, and Statistics. I've also completed AP Calculus AB and BC and am comfortable tutoring everything from elementary math and algebra to calculus and introductory college-level courses. I previously worked as a math tutor at Boise State University while I was in high school, helping students build confidence and understanding in challenging subjects. In addition to tutoring, I have extensive experience working with children and teens through two nonprofit organizations focused on adaptability and development for at-risk or impaired youth-one through a therapeutic horse riding clinic and the other as a whitewater rafting trip guide. These roles strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs. I also have previous experience babysitting and pet sitting.
