About Anna

I am a PhD student in sociology. Because of my background in sociology and psychology, I believe in the importance of centering students' long and short term goals in their educational experiences. I seek to provide students with the tools and skills to be able to learn and find answers on their own as well as to think critically about how their education intersects with their real world experiences. I have four years of experience working with an elementary school reading specialist with students grade K-6. I also have three years of experience working within undergraduates as a TA. I am able to help with elementary, middle, and high school ELA, as well as elementary and middle math support. I am able to provide college level support in writing.
