About Anna

I graduated from Phillips Academy with the Cum Laude Society and am taking a gap year before attending Columbia University in Fall 2020. As a person who has recently gone through the college admissions process, I know how difficult the SAT can be. I have an 800 on the Math SAT and a 5 on the AP BC Calculus Exam. I have experience teaching kindergarteners and 3rd-5th graders math since I was a participant in the Youth Development Organization. Additionally, I was part of the Math Study Center at Phillips Academy where I answered homework questions for 9th-12th graders and have professional experience teaching 10th graders through a private tutoring firm. I have finished pre calculus, Trigonometry, BC Calculus, Multi-variable Calculus, and Linear Algebra. Throughout my previous experiences, I have learned to communicate concepts effectively, keep kids engaged with the material, and helped them advance.
