Hi, I am 29 years old. I graduated in May 2024 with my Bachelor's in Social Work. I have since worked in crisis intervention and post adoptive wraparound services. I am currently taking a break from social work and going back to my roots; I was a full time nanny for 4 years while I completed my AA in Behavioral and Social Sciences and then my Bachelors. I truly miss working with the littles and really appreciated the flexibility that nannying provided. My future goals are to complete my Masters in Social Work and then obtaining my LCSW licensing to work with children who have developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families in some capacity.

Anna is the best. I was visiting Humboldt for a week and needed someone to watch my daughter, and she was so good with her right from the start. No warm up period, no clinginess, she just clicked with her. She planned actual days. Samoa Beach, museums, shopping. She kept her fed, which anyone who's met my daughter knows is no easy job. And her cats, Finley and Papi, my daughter played with those two all week and I'm pretty sure she loved them almost as much as she loved Anna. What stood out to me was how easy she made it on me. I was out of town, unfamiliar with the area, and she handled getting around, kept me updated, and never once made me wonder what was going on. Total peace of mind. You can tell she's been doing this a long time and that she actually likes kids, not just the job. Leaving was rough. My daughter cried when it was time to go. She didn't want to leave Anna or the cats or any of it, and she still asks about them. If you need someone in Humboldt to watch your kid, call Anna. I'd hire her again in a second and if I'm ever back out there I will.
