About Anna

For me, working with kids is so rewarding. Each child has a unique way of learning and interacting with the world, and I love to observe those unique traits and be a part of fostering learning, socializing, and play. I'm looking for a job in which I can help kids find fun ways to learn and communicate. My university education focused on language learning, and I would love to be able to bring that experience to my work with children - whether through tutoring, homework help, or daily conversation. I have worked in varied childcare positions for almost a decade, as a babysitter, nanny, camp counselor, and tutor. Another passion of mine is baking and cooking - I worked as a cook and pastry chef for many years, so I'm no stranger to keeping calm and collected in demanding environments. I love to engage kids with fun and age-appropriate cooking projects! Food and baked goods bring people together, and it's such fun creating delicious meals for my friends and family to enjoy.
