As a prior Certified Nursing Assistant, I bringing five years of experience in adult, dementia, and senior care. I no longer work in care facilities as a CNA, but I am looking to return to direct care on an as-needed basis. My passion lies in supporting the well-being and independence of those I care for, fueled by positive experiences in previous roles. I provide transportation, run errands, shop, do light housekeeping, and prepare meals. I am patient, compassionate, and detail-oriented. I understand the importance of connecting with care recipients by learning about their preferences and personal history. I am skilled at de-escalating stressful situations, handling confusion or agitation, and incorporating memory care activities. I communicate with families through verbal updates, always following their preferred method.
