About Anna

I have worked with kids my entire life in both in-home and professional settings. I began babysitting at the age of 12. As a teenager I worked in an aftercare program with children ages 4-12 where I helped with homework, resolved conflicts, and created engaging activities for them to enjoy during their wait. I also worked as a full time summer nanny for the same family throughout my high school and college years. In my professional life I was a Summer Art Camp Director at Midway College. Here I was in charge of 20+ children ages 4-13, primarily on my own. I developed the camp concept and activities, taught classes daily, and made sure everyone was safe and having a great time. During my time there the camp nearly tripled in size and became their most popular summer program. For the past three years I have been a Discovery Educator at The Living Arts & Science Center where I led afterschool programming, classes, workshops, private art lessons, and events for children ages 3-18.
