Hi! I'm a freshman at MU majoring in nursing/business, and I live at home. I absolutely love kids and have been caring for children of all ages for many years, especially within my family. I also have an older sister with Down syndrome whom I've helped care for since I was very young, which has shaped me into a patient, compassionate, and responsible caregiver. I'm bilingual in Portuguese and English, and I love teaching and helping children learn in fun, creative ways. I enjoy building strong connections and creating a safe, positive, and loving environment where kids can thrive! I like working with kids because I enjoy caring for others and making a positive difference in their lives. I started working with kids when I was 7 years old. My sister has down syndrome so I started helping out young. I started working with babies at around 10 years old where I would help out a lot with my infant family members and played a part in their growth until they hit teen status.
