About Anna

This fall I will begin my senior year at Kenyon College where I am majoring in Economics with two minors in Art History and French respectively. I began babysitting when I was 14 years old, starting with children around 8-10. As I have gotten older and more experienced, I have worked with children of many ages. Whenever I am back in Ohio for college, I babysit the two young daughters (age 2 and 4) of my academic advisor, an Economics professor. In the Summer of 2018, I babysat as needed for a couple with 6-month-old twins, providing me experience caring for babies as well. I spent 5 summers working at Marlborough Summer School in LA, starting as a counselor then as a teaching assistant, and eventually the assistant manager of the entire program. As part of my role, I tended to the students who got hurt, felt sick, wanted to go home, and a variety of unique issues, from which I acquired valuable skills for talking to kids who are upset or anxious.
