About Annabelle

I will help your child build strong foundational literacy and math skills through research-backed, developmentally appropriate methods. About me: I am a certified teacher with a Master's in Early Childhood General and Special Education, and I have taught PreK, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade at private schools in NYC. I am a member of the Brooklyn College Literacy Lab, and have presented my own research on phonemic awareness instruction at the Everyone Reading Conference, and the PATTAN conference. I am currently working on a paper for publication. I have received training in Sounds in Motion, Handwriting without Tears, and Fundations. I am also trained in several early childhood math curricula including: Math in the City, TERC Investigations, and Bridges Number Corner.
