About Anna

Hi everyone! I'm Anna, I've always loved caring for and educating children. I have my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I grew up in a big family with 11 siblings and over 20 nieces and nephews!! So caring for children has been a natural part of my life. I've worked with kids of all ages, but most of my professional experience is with 12months to 5 years old. I was a student teacher at Hill and Plain Elementary School in New Milford for the preschool. I planned lesson plans, led activities ranging from story times, music, and movement, to hands on science "experiments", and various art and sensory projects. My focus was always pushing curiosity and social-emotional development in the children, and of course giving them a safe space to do so! I'm working as a nanny as I work towards my goal of becoming a full time teacher one day. I bring strong communication and endless patience! I also have a clean driving record and a reliable car.
