About Anjelica

Hi! I'm Anjelica, a current graduate student and teaching assistant with over eight years of childcare experience. I began babysitting in high school and, for the past five years, have worked consistently with one family, caring for children from toddler age through middle school. I also have experience working with kids in coaching and athletic settings. I've taught soccer to children ages 5-13 at a training camp and I have served as a coach for both the Iowa City Kickers and Rock Island High School. In addition to childcare, I'm happy to help with cooking, cleaning, homework, and other household responsibilities. I'm also an animal lover and very comfortable around pets. I have a Standard Poodle of my own and lots of experience with dogs and other animals. What I enjoy most about working with kids is their creativity and unique way of looking at the world. Kids are always teaching me something new and I value the opportunity to learn with them :)
