Hi! I'm Ranita, a motivated college graduate with a B. A. in Biology, Society and Environment, Minor in Public Health, and 5+ years of personal care experience. I live in Minneapolis, MN and specialize in behavioral health disorders. In addition to my experience caring for those with memory and mental health challenges, I have worked as a lead PCA for a senior with Parkinson's and his 64-year-old son with cerebral palsy, a 37-year-old female with spinal cord injury, and 12-year-old with epilepsy and autism disorder. I aspire to pursue a career as a physician where I aim to emphasize patient safety and communicative efforts between doctor and patient. From my perspective, the medical profession is an inherent obligation to improve an individual's quality of life despite their life circumstances, an ideology that the position of personal care assistant holistically exemplifies.
