I'd describe my personality as professional, reliable and accountable. I like caring for seniors because I've noticed that there is a shortage in good, qualified caretakers and families are being ripped off by care agencies. I would like to work for anyone looking for trustworthy, reliable care. I have worked in all levels of care in various types of settings including private homes, care homes, hospitals, long term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, behavioral facilities and hospice. I started caring for seniors when I was 14. My family owned assisted living homes and I always loved the companionship and friendship of seniors. As I grew older I was able to get certified as a caregiver then licensed as a professional. My skills include positivity, compassion and attention to detail. While it's important to assist someone with their activities of daily living, it is also important to build trust and friendship with clients.
