About Anita

I grew up as the oldest of 7 children. I spent a lot of time from when I was young and into adulthood caring for my younger siblings from infancy till middle school age on a regular basis but I would also care for neighborhood kids as well. From about 6th grade and through my life I have cared for children (aside from my own) from the ages of 0 months to 12 years old. I have nannied for a friend, caring for her two boys which were 5 months and 3 years old at the time. Caring for children has always been something I have enjoyed and I have always treated them as my own. Now I am 39 years old, am CPR/First Aid certified, and I have 3 children of my own, ages 16, 18, and 20. Care would be in my own home so that I can get my youngest kid to and from school and because I have begun going to school myself. I have an Assistant Childcare Teacher certificate and am currently enrolled in infant ECE classes working toward an Infant certificate and my ultimate goal to become a WIC Nutritionist.
