About Anika

While I may not have formal tutoring experience, I'm very interested in helping students learn and succeed. I previously attended college for elementary education, which gave me a strong foundation in working with younger students and understanding how they learn. I also have about three years of experience helping elementary-aged students with schoolwork, both academically and through hands-on support. In addition, I've spent a lot of time helping my younger siblings with homework, studying for tests, and completing assignments, which taught me how to explain concepts in a simple, patient way. I'm dependable, encouraging, and always willing to learn the ropes and improve as a tutor. I enjoy creating a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and making progress at their own pace.
