Hi I graduated from California State University, East Bay with a degree in Human Development. Seneca: Family of Agencies is where I worked as a Student Support Assistant (SSA). I support children who've experienced trauma or have autism and provide interventions that encourage positive behavioral techniques when dealing with anxiety or uncomfortable feelings/emotions in the classroom. I've been working with adults and kids with either cerebral palsy and/or autism for the past 5 years. The job responsibilities consist of showing compassion, transportation, domestic maintenance, outings, provide support and counsel to the recipients, and implementing consistent and positive behavioral techniques. I have been working with infants and children since I was 17 years old. My daily duties included: prepared simple, but fun snacks and meal preps, cleaning up pay area and maintained a clean/organized space, created activities that are engaging/fun/educational/build autonomy, and transportation.
