About Anika

Hi! I'm Anika, and I genuinely love working with kids, whether that means building blanket forts, helping with homework, doing crafts, reading stories, or finding creative ways to make everyday activities more fun. I currently work in childcare and have experience with children of different ages, personalities, and needs, which has taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and creating an environment where kids feel safe and supported. I am about to graduate from Stony Brook University with a degree in Political Science, with plans to attend law school in the future. My academic background has strengthened my communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Families would describe me as responsible, attentive, reliable, and genuinely caring. In my free time, I enjoy reading, advocacy work, creative projects, and finding fun ways to make learning engaging for children.
