About Aniela

I'm a junior at the University of Texas at Austin who's passionate about helping others learn-especially because I've lived the journey myself. I grew up loving English and math, but math wasn't always my strong suit, until eighth grade, when one incredible algebra teacher completely changed my perspective. Thanks to her, I discovered that I not only love math-I'm actually quite good at it! I now see math as something empowering, not intimidating. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I also bring experience from a reading buddy program (SEAL) where I helped kids read in both languages. This, along with the joy I get from teaching my young niece and nephew, inspired me to become a tutor. I love how English fosters creativity, while math offers that logical black-and-white clarity. My goal is to meet students where they are-just like my teacher did for me-so they can discover their own confidence in learning.
