About Angel

Hello! My name is Angel and I have been a nanny for eight years. I've worked with all ages but have the longest experience caring for infants. My background includes, if not limited to, caring for multiples, twins and elderly. Becoming a nanny was a natural path based on my history growing up with six siblings, church daycare, my mother's in-home daycare and sitting for family friends. There is nothing more fulfilling than being a integral part of a child's growth and development. I enjoy and accept the challenge of fueling children with the necessary building blocks to live a healthy lifestyle. In the past, I've focused on activities that expanded their scope beyond the indoors and television. This typically includes walks to the park, swimming, children's museums, libraries, dance/music class, and baking. I myself am an artist and musician, and love implementing these creative outlets into their daily activities. I enjoy learning valuable skills and overcoming challenges as they arise, such as: Teaching infant sign language, Montessori at home, Plagiocephaly and handling infant helmets, infants with seizures and children with learning disabilities. I believe it is crucial as a nanny to be an extension of the parent. My main goal is to care for your children the way you care for them; keep a level of consistency and structure in the household while providing a loving environment. I prefer to work full-time with one family, this enables me to be available for the unforeseen events that occur in one's life. I will be out of town from December 17th to December 28th but will be available for phone, and Skype interviews. I hope to start working for a family the beginning of January.
