About Angelique

Hi! I'm an active grandma with a BS from Va Tech who raised 6 prof young adults (IT, attorney, elementary teacher, PhD candidate, pharm tech, college student/swim instructor). We have an 8-year-old 60 lb sheprador who thinks she's still a puppy and a 4 yr old 70 pound black lab. I'd describe my personality as vibrant, fun, outgoing. but structured. I love cooking, music and arts and taking nature walks/hikes with my husband. I spent 20+ years in marketing and communications. I was also previously CPR certified. I like working with kids because they are sponges. It brings me joy to provide an environment, one without judgement encouraging kids to thrive. They will be learning without knowing they're learning. Additionally, I juggled the sports/school practices with my kids. They did everything from soccer to swim to cheer and band/theater to football, track and basketball. I understand completely how difficult it can be getting kids to/from practices and school.
