I love been passionate about my job as a care giver. I love working with people, making sure that they are well taking care of in all area of life. by giving tender loving care, speak to all politely, include them in conversations, speak with them, not about them. Use positive verbal and non verbal communication avoid being negative explain things in ways that they can understand and observe how information is received. Encourage them to think by asking questions, rather than giving commands. I love to provide choices when necessary, I respect differences and desires, needs and values, feelings, and concerns. always willing to listen to other point of view. I show love, care, safety, and confidence. Bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring in and out of wheelchair. Prepare meals and do household chores and support in leisure activities. I work with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia, amputation aphasia, arthrogryposis, brain injury cerebral palsy, developmental disabilities, heart disorders, multiple sclerosis, ostegenesis imperfect, Parkinson's, post pollo syndrome, spinal cord injury, stroke, and others. Map certified, occs certified, G-tube trained, first aid, CPR, and CPI.
