About Angelica

Being able to support families and provide a positive impact in a child's life is why I've dedicated the last 13 years to childcare. I am a patient listener and an imaginative creative, adapting games and activities to suit unique learning styles. I am comfortable caring for up to three children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. I have a degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago where I studied English and Psychology. I offer assistance with cooking, housekeeping, and swimming/sports supervision. I communicate with parents through daily written or verbal reports, depending on what the parents have capacity for or their preference. I uphold household tasks/rules but also know children make mistakes as they're learning to care for themselves and others, an essential part of growing up we have all experienced. I believe caring for children is caring for our future, and I look forward to bringing my experience and sharing my care and imagination with your family.
