About Angelia

In the past 8 years I have worked in Special Education teaching a wide range of subjects and grade levels including; Kindergarten through 8th grade math, science, social studies, reading, language arts, behavior and social skills. I have also privately tutored three children long term, the first, a girl, beginning in 5th grade. I tutored her the entire year until she was able to pull up her math performance levels; she struggled with text anxiety. The second was also a girl. For 4th and 5th grades we worked together on her math and multiplication until she could meet the times tables requirements. The third was a boy, and we worked together in math and reading until his scores improved. I have a Master's Degree in Special Education from University and an Undergrad Bachelor's in Elementary Education from University. I am also a Certified Instructor for the American Red Cross in the areas of First Aid, CPR, tourniquet, inhaler, and epi-pen specialties.
