About Angelena

Hello, my name is Angelena! I have recently completed a medical assisting program, and I am certified in CPR and first aid. I have cared for special needs children and have experience with all ages including newborns, toddlers, and children up to age 8. I myself am a mother to an amazing 11-year-old! I love to bake fun shaped cookies and cakes for the holidays, go on nature walks, read, draw, arts and crafts and encouraging children to learn in a fun way! I am very into overall health, eating well and exercising, I also enjoy travel, cooking, and trying new things. I am bilingual, I speak Spanish and enjoy learning more about the culture. I am familiar with some ASL and have used this method for helping infants to communicate before he or she is able to communicate verbally, and we've had some pretty great outcomes! I look forward to new experiences and helping out where I am needed!
